I have had two startups fail before now.
The first was an e-learning platform I started as a law student. The second was a legal tech company I genuinely believed would change how lawyers operated. Both started with passion, big idea, and no access to funding or the right people to build with.
I understood what it meant to start small. I was ready to grow gradually. But what do you do when you have hit your limit, not because your idea was not good enough, but because you simply do not have the tools, support, or people to bring it to life?
I have lived that frustration.
The more I shared my story, the more I realized I was not alone. There are countless young, brilliant Africans with bold ideas stuck in this same loop; no access to funding, no real connections, and no platform that sees them or supports them from the ground up.
That is the day Metalex App stopped being just an idea for me. It became a mission: to build the one platform I wish I had. A place where business people, legal professionals, and investors could connect meaningfully. A place where an entrepreneur with nothing but an idea could access knowledge, pitch, partner, and grow, without being shut out of the system.
Today, we are close to launching the Metalex App, a tool built from pain, purpose, and persistence. A platform designed to change how African businesses start, scale, and succeed.
Day 1 is not just where the Metalex App begins. It is where many of us start, full of ideas, but searching for the tools to bring them to life.
Let us build this together.
